1924 Weber DuoArt Piano
The Weber Piano Company was one of the leading American piano companies of the 19th and 20th Centuries, and are noted for their high quality, expensive pianos. If you were able to purchase one, chances are they were offered (at an additional cost) with the player system called "DuoArt". This was a Reproducing playing system very advanced for its time, able to reproduce the way the artist wanted the music to sound, getting louder and softer with many levels of expression. One may think of it as Mechanical "Midi" for the 1920s.
This particular "Duo-Art" grand piano was built on or around 1924, the "Golden Age" of piano building in America. It was meticulously restored in 2002 and was maintained regularly up to our receiving it for consignment a few years back. We have been mantaining it and tuning it regularly.
